The scaffolding structure is pretty substantial and has become a bit of a talking point in the town.

Work continues at the museum. We are just completing the demolition phase which has involved removing the back staircase and the floors in the central section of the tower. Scaffolding has been erected around the outside of the building in preparation for work on the roof.
It is not all destruction as some of the new walls that will separate the exhibition galleries from the stores have started to be built.
